We are interested to hear from academic law libraries who provide photocopies to attorneys and charge for this service. Do your charges include royalties to
publishers who hold the copyright on the articles within their journal? Do you
keep any records of which journals you make copies from? Any other copyright protection measures? We also have a question in regard to photocopying for facultymembers. Our student assistants copy articles for professors from current
journal issues. We are beginning to get 2 and 3 requests for the same article
what are the copyright considerations we should consider as we evaluate this
