Hi! A professor here is looking for the text of legislation (in English,
of course) on euthanasia passed
by the Dutch parliament's upper house in late November or early December
1993. The legislation, which was approved by the lower house in February
1993, sets guidelines that, if followed,
assures
physicians that they will not be prosecuted for assisting a suicide. I
have several law review articles on the legislation, but they do not
include a citation to the actual text. I also checked Lexis and Westlaw
and did an Internet search using Veronica (keywords Netherlands and
euthanasia) but no luck. We are also contacting the Hemlock Society.
Can anyone help?
