STUDENT ACCESS TO RESERVE ROOMS

I know that University of Texas has a reserve room that is as big as a
large law firm library. The room has open stacks, a separate circulation
desk and lots of room for study and etc. The situation there may be
extreme, but it seems to work pretty well - the big hitch is that it
requires a good deal of extra staffing. Not only do they have class
reserves, they have unbound periodicals and many looseleafs in the reserve
room.
