I am looking for either the text of the LEGAL BRIEFS that were filed in Colorado
in opposition to Amendment 2, or the names/addresses/phone numbers of the
attorneys who prepared the briefs. (I _HAVE_: the text of the amendment,
analysis of the amendment, Judge Bayless`s injunction, and his denial for a
re-hearing, as well as the Meinhold decision...)
We expect the OCA/ICA/CAW to file an anti-civil rights inititiative in Idaho
within the next two weeks or so, and our Attorney General`s staff is trying to
gather information for their `Advisory Opinion` - which they have to prepare
within 10 days. The more information we can provide them, the better job they`ll
be able to do. BTW- Larry Echohawk, the A.G., has already come out publicly
against the initiative in concept, as has our Governor, Cecil Andrus.
Any help that can be given in securing this information would be much
appreciated, and will make a significant difference in our state. Thanks.
