Hello AALL Members --
I'm pleased to announce that the new _AALL Directory and Handbook_ is in the
mail and on its way to members. I'm further pleased to point out that this
year's _Directory_ is in the mail at the end of December, rather than at the
end of February as was the case last year.
Once again, CCH Incorporated has made a significant contribution to AALL by
printing and mailing the _Directory_ -- many thanks to them.
I hope you will receive your copy of the _Directory_ in the next few days,
but if you don't, please try to be patient -- the _Directory_ is sent Book
Rate, and consequently the Post Office's delivery "window" is rather large --
three weeks, I believe. If you still don't have your copy by January 20,
please call Christopher Orange at AALL HQ (312/939-4770 ext. 17) and request
a replacement. Additional (i.e., non-replacement) copies are available to
members for $65.
We have made every effort to ensure that the _Directory_ is free from errors,
but if you discover something in the _Directory_ that is incorrect, please
contact Laura Sullivan, AALL's Member Services Coordinator, at 312/939-4770

And finally, whatever you like about the new _Directory_, and whatever you
don't like -- please let me know. Planning for next year's version is
already under way, and input from you -- the people actually using the book --
is invaluable. Thanks.
