In the tables to a 1992 committe print regarding the Immigration
and Nationality Act there are tables in the back which discuss
the citizenship status of children in different birth situations--
born overseas to U.S. parents; born out of wedlock to alien mother
and citizen father; born out of wedlock to citizen mother and
alien father; etc. Sections of a 1940 law are cited, then in
the next column, titled "reference," cites that look like the
subject line appear. We have not been able to figure out what
these refer to and are out of ideas. Can anyone help us out?
