I have been asked to find an 1838 volume by Samuel R. Betts entitled:
_A Summary of Practice in Instance, Revenue and Prize Causes, in
the Admiralty Courts of the United States, for the Southern
District of New York; and also on Appeal to the Supreme Court:
Together with the Rules of the District Court_
This title was published by Halsted and Voorhies publishers in New York.
If anyone has this rare title in their collection, or has any ideas on
where to look for it, any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated!
Considering the age of the volume, if someone who owns it could fax the
table of contents to us, that would be a great start. (I am sure that
this is not the type of book that would withstand the rigors of the U.S.
Postal Service.)
