I'm a graduate student at the University of North Texas School of
Library and Information Science. I want to survey users of Law-Lib
and ask one question regarding integrated automated library software.
Has anyone heard of an integrated automated library software that includes
as a feature of the opac or public access module, the ability to
(1 search for an item
(2 and then send an e-mail message to library staff without having to
download the citation.
I know that technically it is possible to download your citation and
attach it to an e-mail system. However, I'm looking for a library
system that includes the ability to email the citation from the
opac itself.
If anyone has heard of such a system, I would like to know the name of
the software and the vendor name. I would appreciate any positive
reponse on this question.
