Cost-Saving Suggestions

Those of you who have received your new AALL Newsletter may have
noticed that I have taken over the "Cost-Savings Tips" column. I
wish that I could say that being the column contributor means that I
am chock full of cost-savings suggestions. The reality, however, is
that, if I am to have any hope of coming anywhere close to the quality
of Peter Pogacar's columns, I need your help.

If you have any suggestions or ideas on any subject that will save a
law library some money in any amount large or small, please pass them
on to me by e-mail, snail-mail or phone. I will be happy to include
them in the column with full credit of authorship to their source.
Since I work in an academic library, I may not always be sensitive to
the cost concerns of law firm and corporate law libraries, so I would
especially like to hear from those of you who work in those settings.

Also, if you think something I've written in the column is a crock,
let me know so that readers can get a different point of view (of
course, I won't object if you agree with something I've written too
:)).

Many thanks in advance for all your help.
