Our library has had similar problems with West's Illinois Digest 2d
binding. While I haven't ordered replacement copies for defective binding
in some time (I need to do so soon!), West did replace about 5 or 6 badly
worn volumes which had fallen apart after only a couple years' use. I
have no idea if they still will replace; probably your sales rep will be
the best bet for getting some action from West.
