The University of Washington Law School is planning a new
building, and the working group on user space is considering how to
provide for faculty space. We'd greatly appreciate your response to the
following questions:

(1) If you have recently moved into a new building, did you provide a
separate faculty library? Has your decision worked out well?

(2) If not in a new building, do you have a separate faculty library?
Would you prefer to have faculty reading space integrated in among the
stacks, or included in a central reading room?

(3) What management, space and cost issues have you faced? If faculty
space is separate, roughly how much space is set aside?

Please reply directly to me at mccluer@u.washington.edu, and I will
summarize for the list. Thanks in advance for your help.
