We are considering using the Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. to pay
copyright fees associated with our document delivery service at Loyola Law
School in Los Angeles. I would like to hear from anyone who has used the CCC
to pay copyright fees. Have you been pleased with the service(s) provided?
Are there enough publishers covered by the CCC to justify using them? Is
record keeping and payment of fees difficult?
Also, I would like to hear from anyone whose library has considered using
the CCC and has decided against it. What was the basis of your decision? Any
help I can get on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Please address
responses to law-lib or to me at dbuffalo@lmulaw.lmu.edu.
Thanks,
Don Buffaloe
