Here's a great stumper for all of you who love federal taxation questions-

Is anyone aware of a source (other than the IRS FOIA people) for
superceded sections of the IRS Manual? We have the CCH version of the
current manual, but we are trying to research how a particular manual
section has changed over the past 10 years or so.

LEXIS maintains only the current manual, just like CCH. Does anyone out
there keep the old manuals as a historical research item?

If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear from you!
