  Yes, but... how do you feel about "SIS's" versus "SISs" ? Our esteemed
AALL President, Carol Billings, has looked up the rule, and found that the
correct abbreviation is "SIS's," with the apostrophe. Another problem with
this initialism is that the uninitiated often reveal their ignorance by
treating it like an acronym, calling it by the same name my nephew Andrew
uses for my niece Catherine, "Sis." alva :-)
