I would like to know if there is an academic law library in the Buffalo or
Western New York area which has in its collection materials relating to
the regulation of transportation in the U.S.
An articling student of this firm is researching an issue in which
pre-1983 U.S. administrative law is relevant to the current transportation
regulatory framework of Ontario. An official with the U.S. Dept. of
Transportation told her look at decisions, rulings, etc., of the
Interstate Commerce Commission; MCC decisions; the CCH U.S. transportation
law service; and the Hawkins (Hockins?) "service on U.S. transportation
law". None of this material is available locally.
I know that the ICC & MCC decisions are on LEXIS back to the '70s, but
because of the nature of her research the student needs to have physical
access to a collection that would have all or most of the above sources
(among others), as well as older material.
Any information, advice, etc., would be greatly appreciated.
