The exact quote is: "It is a maxim of law that there is no wrong
without a remedy." The Latin reads, "Ubi jus ibi remedium." My
source for this is "A Selection of Legal Maxims, Classified and
Illustrated", by Herbert Broom, Esq., London, A. Maxwell & Son,
1845, p. 46. The maxim in question is found in Chapter IV,
Fundamental Legal Principles. A footnote to the maxim cites the
case of "Johnson v. Sutton, (in error) 1 T.R. 512; Co. Litt. 197.
b." as the source.

Hope this helps!
