Baker & McKenzie has put themselves at a competitive disadvantage by
firing the Chicago library staff.
Perhaps another, more effective response for us as librarians is to
inform our partners and marketing people of the opportunity for our firms
to: (1) get new clients who might be thinking of using B&M or us,
(2) woo clients from B&M,
(3) use our superior information resources when B&M is adverse to us.
