Others on this list might be interested in a little magazine
called 2600. It is written by and for hackers, and in breathless
MTV prose it describes likely targets and techniques for breaking
into computer systems. While I am not so entirely grownup that I
fail to see the humor in a recent feature about a kid who
discovered how to dial into an electric sign on I-65 and left it
displaying a message in beavis-and-butthead-speak, I read it
primarily for tips on how to keep systems secure. I am learning
a lot about telephone switching, too.
