Bring Your Daughters to Work Day

Help! I've just been asked to give a short presentation (5 minutes) to 12
year old girls about the library. I think its important to do, but 12
year olds aren't my forte. In the afternoon, I've been asked to offer a
"library related activity" for them to do. Filing was suggested. I can
think of no better way to discourage a whole generation of potential law
librarians than forced loose-leaf filing. So - any suggestions on how to
sell the library to a 12 year old? (The idea of infosurfing sprung to
mind - make it sound hip and exciting - maybe West or Mead has some of the
neon sunglasses they used to give away left over.) Other ideas would be
welcome. Any hints on how to address a 12 year audience would be useful
as well. I would be less nervous speaking to a room full of litigators
than to a group of 12 year olds. Also, any bright ideas for activities?
Computers would be great but we could only to one person at a time and
somehow, I don't think that Shepardizing a brief will seem very
interesting to a 12 year old. (Its not that interesting to our
attorneys!) Any and all suggestions are welcome! Many thanks. sz
