AALS Section Membership for law librarians

I am sending the following message on behalf of Ann Bateson,
Chair of the AALS Section on Law Libraries.

Your law school has recently received from AALS the annual
questionnaire it uses to obtain information for the AALS Directory of
Law Teachers. Your school may have an administrator fill out the
questionnaire or it may forward the questionnaire to individual
faculty and administrators. The last question on the
questionnaire asks which sections you wish to join. If your
school lists you in the directory, the AALS Section on Law
Libraries urges you to review your entry on the questionnaire and
to be sure to join the Section on Law Libraries this year.
Also, under the Bylaws of the Section, membership is open to
both faculty members and professional staff of a law school that is
a member of the Association of American Law Schools. If your school
does not list you in the directory, you may still become a member of
the Section by calling or sending a note to AALS. Please
consider doing so.Phyllis Marion William Mitchell College of Law Library
