I am giving a presentation at the Southwestern Association of
Law Libraries Annual meeting entitled "Collection Management for
the Frugal Librarian: Tips for Tight Times". Since many libraries
have had budget cutbacks or "no growth" budgets during the past few
years, I thought some of you might have some good ideas on this
topic that you would like to share. If you would post your
suggestions to me, I will compile the tips suggested and send them
to anyone who is interested. Even if you think what you are doing
is not particulary unique, please pass it on because it may be
something someone else has overlooked as a way to save money. I
would appreciate if you would send your response to my by Wednesday
evening, April 13th, as the program is Friday, April 15th. I will
be looking forward to your responses.
