Fellow law-libbers:
Did you all see the article in March 23, 1994 Chicago Daily Law
Bulletin by Alice Hoffman?
She says: "Books may well be the only true magic. A librarian is
a conjurer of sorts, with access to some of the greatest mysteries,
the novels, biographies and history books on the shelves."
You see, a librarian was fired for "unsatisfactory performance" and
"misconduct" when she lent materials on witchcraft to two seventh
graders at the West Valley School of Kalispell, Mont.
Just food for thought :)
