I'm already seeing this among our first year students.

I agree there is no way it can substitute for boolean searching at
present. Someday it will be sophisticated enough that it will get
everything, I'm sure, but it is nowhere near that point now. Students
who learn to rely on it, who believe it is unnecessary to learn "terms
and connectors" searching are going to have serious problems down the
line.
