A librarian friend of mine in an academic (non-law) library asked me how (or if
) law libraries budget for monograph titles that get supplemented at a later d
ate ( at the time you purchased the title you are not aware that there will eve
r be a supplementation). I told her that in our case we can't budget for it si
nce we don't know until later that the title will be supplemented. Are there l
aw libraries out there that do somehow work into their budget money for these u
nforseen supplementations?
