Actually, despite the obvious pleasures of Opening Day, I too had half an eye
on both the Men's and Women's NCAA basketball finals. And neither was
disappointing--quite a show in each instance. Congrats to winners and losers
both. (To be candid, after SIU lost to Duke by an unspeakable # of points in
the opening round, baseball became even more attractive than usual. Which is
saying something.)
