Re: Defective West Binding
The Los Angeles County Law Library has returned approximately
a dozen volumes during the last six months of various reporters.
When the replacements have arrived some of those were in the same
condition. The problem appears to be too heavy a text block and
too flimsy paper for end sheets. I may send the next volume to
our local binder for evaluation. And the director wonders why
our bindery bill continues to grow; we're re-binding the entire
reporter collection! Our West rep supposedly has talked to
someone higher up, but maybe it's time for letters to the CRIV
sheet.
