For a friendlier interface to the HERMES opinions at CWRU, use
WorldWideWeb to look at them via our site (we organize by case
name rather than docket number, and no icky FTP commands are
needed). This is a WWW 'wrapper' which provides prettier access
to the CWRU FTP site.
There are several ways to do this:
1) With a WWW client such as Viola, XMosaic, or the Mac browser
aimed at
http://fatty.law.cornell.edu:80/usr2/wwwtext/lii.table.html
2) With gopher via the LII gopher, under the US Law/Experimental
WWW text choice (this is a cheap hack which actually dumps you
into a telnet session with the WWW line mode browser).
3) Via telnet to fatty.law.cornell.edu, login www (no password
needed).
We are planning full release of a WWW browser for Microsoft
Windows by mid-July, with beta testing to begin soon (we keep
adding features so it stays in the alpha phase forever). A Mac
browser from CERN (ftp from info.cern.ch) is in alpha test now;
NCSA is planning one for release on roughly the same schedule as
our Windows browser.
Regards,
Tb.
