Regarding the problem of poli.sci. and business professors and
their assignments: we have a fair amount of success with working
with the offending professors. When we find a professor sending his or
her studdents to the Law Library with incorrect cites and no
training, we usually write a letter to the professor, explaining
the problem in a non-threatening way, and offering to give
tours for the students. The tours are time-consuming, but less
so than dealing with ten or twenty students soely on an
individual basis.
