Interesting observation on pro se patrons--I have seen them at both ends,
in the library doing research and in court arguing their own appeals.
There are a surprising number of them, although it is a small number
admittedly, who seem to have mastered the system and who do experience
occasional successes. While you might argue that the number of "successful"
pro se actions is too small to be significant, I think we have to continue
to serve them, within our limitations, to be true to the philosophy of public
access to a democratic legal system and to government information.
