We purchased a Copicard, Inc. card machine for use with our new
HP LaserJet III printer. We are using a CS-125/IBM PC interface
provided by Copicard (located in Dallas, Texas and Ontario, Canada).
We are using an Epson PC with 3.2 Epson Dos and both WordPerfect 5.0
and 5.1, and we use a WordPerfect office Menu program. No matter what
we do the Copicard machine charges 20 cents for the first copy and
10 cents for each additional copy as long as you do not remove
and reinsert the copicard. Whenever you remove and reinsert the copicard
it charges 20 cents for the first copy you run. We want to charge
a flat 10 cents per copy. We have been owrking on this problem since
July. We have tried everything including shifting to an IBM pc, running
outside the office menu and changing the version of DOS, all without
success. Copicard continues to make suggestions, to send new interface
units, and to suggest other changes, all without success. Does anyone
have any ideas or suggestions? HELP!!!
